Lee Yankie has been playing the local area and all over the country for 20 years and his sound is a collection of influences that comes out as the sound of the gulf coast. You can expect southern sounds reminiscent of the Allman Brothers, Wet Willie and Marshall Tucker Band. As well as the beach influence stretching down to the Caribbean with plenty of Reggae. He’s also been in the popular New Orleans band, the Honey Island Swamp Band for 6 years, so the Nola musical influence is in there too! Lee also plays plenty of blues, soul, classic rock and even a little country to the mix.
