Angela Easley is a Nashville-based independent recording artist and Mississippi Soul Singer

* Early Career & Move to Nashville: Angela started singing in church at a young age and
recorded her first songs at 13 after winning a talent competition that led to a performance on the
Grand Ole Opry stage. She later fronted the band Bayou Lagniappe and eventually moved to
Nashville where the Angela Easley Band quickly became a fixture in the local music scene.
* Musical Style: Her music is often described as a
“gumbo” of Southern sounds, encompassing blues, gospel, funk, jazz, rock, and country
influences.
* Recent Success: Her album “Rise” debuted at #1 on the Billboard and Soundscan Blues
Charts and also achieved #1 status on various Roots Music Report charts and SiriusM
Bluesville radio. She was also awarded the 2024 Vocalist of The Year by Josie Music Awards &
2022 Entertainer of The Year for ISAA Awards.
