Instinctively drawn to the guitar and saxophone\, Paul seized the opportunity to master these instruments\, spending hours locked in his room every day to teach himself the guitar.Influence seeped into his guitar playing from the likes of Dave Matthews Band and The Beatles. As soon as school began\, Paul embraced jazz by joining the school’s band\, igniting his love for the saxophone too. Today\, Paul’s guitar repertoire is enriched with music from prominent artists including Dave Matthews Band\, The Beatles\, James Taylor\, and Tom Petty.In 2020\, Paul released his debut single\, ‘I’m Not Letting Go.’ The song\, encapsulating a lively bluegrass rhythm\, features a duet harmonizing over an ensemble of acoustic guitar\, fiddle\, a hint of a banjo\, slide guitar\, and percussive drums.

Beginning their journey together as a band in Colorado in 2016. Joshua and Candy Carpenter are the hearts behind The Band Wanted\, performing mostly country music made famous by Little Big Town\, Ashley McBryde and other popular favorites! Each show is full of energy\, leaving the audience wanting more. Their music is strongly influenced by Alison Kraus\, Patsy Cline\, Willie Nelson\, The Dead South\, CCR\, and Journey\, they bring a wide variety of music to every show. The vision for the band continues to grow with each show and through each audience member. Their dedicated and growing fanbase of Outlaws catapulted them into Atlanta\, Georgia – winning yet another award with the International Singer Songwriters Association for Vocal Duo Of The Year in 2023 and again in 2024! Throughout their career they have received several finalist and honorable mentions for their music including their songs “8 Seconds” and “Still Alive”.
