SUMMARY:The Yale Brothers - North Myrtle Beach
DESCRIPTION:Identical twins Chris and Roger Yale cut their teeth on rock ‘n’ roll while growing up in Hollywood and regularly played the Sunset Strip with their band\, Rogue Alley. Now longtime Myrtle Beach residents\, Roger is a journalist and was a founding member of the classic rock cover band\, Sick Stooges – and Chris enjoyed a long stint with his band\, Medicine Hat – dating back into the 1990s on the Grand Strand. His CD\, “Well Enough Alone\,” has been described as “a rock car with country tires barreling down the blacktop of the American night.” The twins have been working on original music and digging into their collective psyches to reconnect with that spark they maintained for many years as The Yale Brothers – bringing with them a mindfully chosen collection of cover tunes as well. \nYou are not seeing double…

SUMMARY:Marc Harris - Destin
DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Nashville\, Marc Harris spent much of his early childhood in his Father’s apparel store\, which outfitted some of classic country’s legends. Influenced by the greats of country and rock\, Marc developed his own twangy melodic sound\, Harris started out playing night clubs in Nashville throughout high school and toured the southeast playing frat parties during college. Marc made a conscious decision to catch a tour bus heading out of town in the early 90s and hit ‘The Road’ with Lee Roy Parnell as well as John Berry\, Stacey Dean Campbell\, among others. After touring as a sideman for country artists throughout the 90s\, Marc moved to Point Washington Florida in 2001 where his creativity and songwriting flourished.  His original music has been dubbed “Southern Surf”. \nThe Athens Flagpole referred to Harris’ music as “Guitar Strong Modern Rock\,” while the Destin Beachcomber described it as “The best kind of singer-songwriter material- intelligent\, well crafted\, and accessible to twang lovers and haters alike.” The Birmingham weekly aptly called Marc’s music “A Mix of Renegade Country and Beach-Tinged Tunes.”
