After touring as a sideman for country artists throughout the 90s\, Marc moved to Point Washington Florida in 2001 where his creativity and songwriting flourished.  His original music has been dubbed “Southern Surf”. \nThe Athens Flagpole referred to Harris’ music as “Guitar Strong Modern Rock\,” while the Destin Beachcomber described it as “The best kind of singer-songwriter material- intelligent\, well crafted\, and accessible to twang lovers and haters alike.” The Birmingham weekly aptly called Marc’s music “A Mix of Renegade Country and Beach-Tinged Tunes.”
